Digital Marketing Specialist

Made Of Collective is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and understanding of organic and paid social media, content strategy, community management and content creation across all relevant social platforms. An interest in copywriting and understanding of social/digital ad strategy and management is a bonus. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to share their social media and digital marketing experience while expanding their skillset and grow within our company. This is a hybrid position, so the ideal candidate will have the ability to travel to the office 1-2 times per week.
Your responsibilities will include:
Social Media Management
* Work directly with the Digital Marketing Manager to help monitor all clients’ social feeds. This includes:
* Scheduling/manually posting social media content using Sprout Social/similar social media management tool. Pay close attention to all post mechanics such as creative, copy and other details in post.
* Comfort with creating content such as Reels, Posts, Stories and/or TikTok videos for respective client accounts.
* Creating content using brand tone/voice guidelines; ability to create social worthy captions.
Community Management
* Responding to direct messages, comments and informing the marketing team/clients of any messages that need client attention, as needed.
* Monitoring for and removing any negative or inappropriate comments on clients’ posts or ads, as needed.
* Liking, following, reposting and engaging with relevant posts/accounts or influential accounts to grow communities.
* Develop community management strategies ahead of campaign launches.
* Using strategic thinking and insights, help plan for monthly content, promotions and giveaways.
* Collaborate with the Marketing Team and Design Team to finalize monthly and quarterly content calendars.
* Participate in monthly and quarterly brainstorms, often leading strategic discussions that shape campaign direction such as trends.
Reporting and Social Analytics
* Work with Digital Marketing Manager to help pull social reporting metrics from Sprout Social, Meta or similar social media management tool.
* Assist with analyzing data for improved campaigns and client reporting.
Creator and UGC Research
* Manage creator and UGC campaigns for clients with Digital Marketing Manager. This includes coming up with campaign ideas, sourcing creators/candidates, analyzing performance data and facilitating campaign deliverables.
* Keep tabs on user generated content (UGC) libraries for each client and leverage content for future use.
* Have a keen eye when it comes to researching creators and influencers with specific niches for each client and be able to communicate with creators.
* Assist Digital Marketing Manager with influencer management such as contract execution, post coordination and performance analysis.
Social Trend/Platform Research
* Stay updated on social media trends for content planning.
* Provide monthly updates on trends in and out of clients’ categories, make recommendations for clients to leverage trends, if applicable.
* Stay updated on social platforms’ newest features and activities. Provide insight into how these features should or shouldn’t be used by each client.
Social/Digital Ad Management
* Assist Digital Marketing Manager with social ad campaigns across multiple platforms.
* Assist with performance analysis for client ads.
Your Attributes:
* You have strong communication skills and a passion for social media content, planning and analysis.
* You have a strong ability to collaborate with other team members and agency departments.
* You have experience presenting to clients, both current and prospective.
* You are capable of managing short notice client requests and adjusting to the fast-paced environment of the social media industry and agency ecosystem.
* You’re not afraid to bring new ideas to the table and are comfortable sharing your opinion.
* You have at least 2-4+ years of experience in the digital marketing space or agency experience.
