IT Support Analyst - Core Banking Applications

About Our Client: Our client is a globally recognized, successful bank providing world-class services to various institutions and individuals. With over 10 million active customers across 700 business locations, they offer a comprehensive range of retail and corporate financial services/products.
Role Overview: This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. The IT Application Support Analyst will perform functional support duties and provide technical assistance to users on a range of core banking products and other critical business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out day-to-day support, maintenance, upgrade, and administration on all the bank’s application systems and interfaces.
2. Resolve application issues that do not involve coding.
3. Investigate and resolve banking product end-user and system issues.
4. Maintain existing and develop new Business Objects reports as per business requirements.
5. Provide Flexcube and Flexcube Direct Banking functional support to users interfacing with the bank's application systems.
6. Escalate issues to CTO & Deputy Chief Technology Officer where appropriate, ensuring support calls are logged, updated, and followed through to resolution.
7. Familiarity with source code and change management.
8. Support and monitor the daily End-of-Day batch processing operation for Flexcube.
Key Skills/Experience:
1. University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
2. Experience in supporting core banking applications.
3. Experience in desktop and laptop configuration and setup.
4. Configuration of Apple products (iPad and iPhone).
Interpersonal Skills:
1. Drive for continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
2. Willingness to ask questions, make suggestions, and seek guidance from more experienced team members.
3. Fluency in written and spoken English.
