The role: An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for a Senior Charge Nurse / Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Interventional Neuroradiology (INR) and Thrombectomy teams. This post will provide visible leadership and consistent support across both services.
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated and forward‑thinking leader who can strengthen service efficiency, optimise patient flow, and contribute to a safe and seamless perioperative experience. You will work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team and key clinical partners, identifying opportunities for improvement and helping to drive meaningful, sustainable change.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications, Training, Experience
* First Level Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
* Post–registration experience.
* Experience within complex clinical services (essential).
* Previous experience in INR, theatres, or recovery (desirable but not essential).
* Management experience or formal leadership training (beneficial).
* Commitment to developing leadership practice and contributing to the ongoing development of the specialist service.
* PVG Scheme Membership / Disclosure and Scotland check required.
