About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Garment Technologist specialising in Woven Softs to play a key role in elevating the technical development of our product.
This role will own the technical process from concept through to production, ensuring exceptional fit, construction and quality across key categories. Working closely with Design, Buying and suppliers, you’ll help bring our collections to life while maintaining the premium, effortless standard our customers expect from Hush.
Reporting to the Garment Technical Manager, you’ll also support the development of our technical team, sharing your expertise and helping to drive best practice across the department.
What you’ll do
* Lead the garment technology process across Woven Softs categories, from development through to production sealing
* Ensure excellent fit, construction and finish, maintaining the Hush standard across all products
* Set and maintain category standards, including blocks, specs, grading and tolerances
* Create and maintain accurate technical specifications and grading rules
* Champion the use of PLM systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
* Work collaboratively with Design and Buying to engineer products that balance quality, performance and margin
* Drive consistency of fit and construction across categories
* Lead fit sessions and manage the technical critical path to support on-time delivery
* Support and develop Assistant Garment Technologists, providing guidance, feedback and training
* Ensure compliance with testing, performance and labelling requirements
* Proactively troubleshoot and resolve product or supplier issues
* Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers

What you’ll bring
* Proven experience as a Senior Garment Technologist, with strong expertise across Woven Softs product categories
* Strong understanding of garment construction, manufacturing techniques and fabric behaviour
* Solid knowledge of grading and pattern evaluation
* Experience working with testing, compliance and product performance standards
* High proficiency in Excel and PLM systems
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Experience mentoring or supporting junior technologists
* A collaborative mindset with the confidence to influence cross-functional teams
