SME Broker Development Specialist
Salary £30.000-£40.000 (depending on location, skills, and experience)

A bit about the job:
This role sits at the heart of our SME Group Protection growth strategy. You’ll be supporting and growing broker relationships, helping advisers see the value of our offering, and driving new business opportunities. Working closely with sales leaders brokers in your designated panel, you’ll use warm leads and proactive outreach to grow engagement and build trust. Your success will help ensure we deliver on our promises and support the financial wellbeing of more businesses and their people.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Experience in broker relationship management, sales, or intermediary support
2. Ability to negotiate effectively and spot opportunities to maximise value
3. Telephone skills, with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone. Enthusiastic and willing to learn and adapt to Aviva’s SME broker strategy
4. A solid understanding of online sales journeys and digital engagement tools
5. Confident presenting to a range of audiences, both virtually and over the phone. Delivering sales pitches, both on the phone and virtual presentations.

6. Starting salary £30.000-£40.000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
7. Bonus opportunity - 8% (C grade) of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
