Pulse AHP’s Podiatry team is recruiting an experienced Band 7 Podiatrist to join the team for a role based in the Dudley area.
These roles will be in the Dudley area providing Podiatry services. To be successful in this role you MUST have at least 1 years’ experience working exclusively with the Podiatry population.

Essential skills:
1. Recent Podiatry experience of at least 12 months
2. Proof of competency
We are looking for an experienced Podiatrist to be able to work full-time hours for the week
This position is available now with a competitive pay rate of up to £34 per hour.
Main responsibilities of this Podiatry vacancy:
3. Provide comprehensive nail care services and perform debridement, utilizing scalpel techniques and enucleation when necessary.
4. Conduct thorough diabetic foot risk assessments to identify potential complications.
5. Recognize signs of patient deterioration and escalate care appropriately.
6. Make referrals to multidisciplinary teams (MDT) or alternative services as required.
7. Engage in foot health promotion and education to inform patients about proper foot care practices.
8. Offer expert footwear advice to ensure patient comfort and support.
9. Carry out detailed neurovascular assessments to monitor foot health.
10. Conduct baseline musculoskeletal (MSK) assessments to evaluate foot and ankle conditions.
11. Assess and understand patients’ mental capacity, ensuring informed consent for treatments
Essential requirements of this Podiatry vacancy:
12. Current and valid registration with the HCPC as a Podiatrist.
13. Proven experience in podiatric care, particularly within a Band 7 role or equivalent.
14. Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
