Mid-Argyll Community Hospital and Integrated Care Centre
There is an exciting opportunity for a locum pharmacist post to cover the Acute Mental Health Service within the Mid Argyll Community Hospital and Integrated Care Centre. There is a 15 bedded acute psychiatric ward situated within the MACHICC. The pharmacist would be required to support and deliver pharmacy services to the unit. You would be part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team for the patient weekly reviews along with consultants.
There is onsite management and leadership to the pharmacy service and you would be part of working within a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
Experience working in Mental Health is essential.
Lochgilphead is situated in the heart of the Mid Argyll Locality. It is a beautiful area and has a stunning coastline. If you like to be outdoors, then there are plenty of opportunities to explore the cycles paths and walks along the stunning Crinan Canal. There is a direct bus route to Glasgow, and you can visit some of the beautiful islands like Jura, Gigha, Arran and Islay.
There is hospital accommodation on site which could be available for the post holder.

1. Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
