Job Description:
The role has been created to meet the continued growth of the business. We are now searching for an enthusiastic individual with great attention to detail, proactive and well-organised mindset to join our growing Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information team.
Please note this role is office-based in Hertford, UK.
Role Responsibilities
* Responsible for developing and maintaining AE reporting processes and systems.
* Responding to Medical Information enquiries.
* Executing literature searches to identify key product articles.
* Creating and collating aggregate reports (PSURs, RMPs, Renewals, etc.).
* Performing reconciliation activities of medical information enquiries, product complaints, and adverse events with stakeholders.
* Supporting PV/MI compliance metrics, KPIs, and quality review reports.
* Assisting in preparation for audits.
* Keeping current with pharmacovigilance regulations and knowledge.
* Identifying training and development opportunities for the PV department.
* Ensuring all regulatory timeframes are met for safety information processing and reporting.
* Completing departmental project activities accurately per SOPs and regulations.
* Reviewing safety tracking systems for accuracy and quality.
* Maintaining documentation in line with Good Documentation Practice.
* Liaising with partners and departments on safety issues.
* Coordinating interdepartmental activities.
* Reviewing study documentation for PV inputs.
* Staying updated on safety regulations and guidelines.
* Performing additional duties as required.
* Providing administrative support to the PV team.
* Developing knowledge of the company's products.
* Representing PV and MI in cross-functional meetings.
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* At least one year of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
* Willingness to learn and grow.
* BSc or equivalent in Life Sciences.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Strong planning and organizational skills, ability to multitask.
* Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.
