SWS Planning Officer Location: Coulport, near Helensburgh (Scotland - 20 minutes north of Helensburgh) Package: £37,000 (Dependant on experience and suitability for the role) Working pattern: Monday – Thursday (core hours) Ready to play your part? You will act as Planning Officer for all required facilities, generating production plans and delegating tasks for the work areas supported. The SWS Planning Officer will provide support to other areas of the PL business area. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities • Manage, prepare, produce and monitor production plans for relevant work areas. • Identify any areas of concern or serious shortcomings which affect Strategic Weapon System planning activities to Line Manager. • Ensure adherence to the regulations laid down in all relevant Control Procedures (CPP’s), Work Instructions, MOD client and company procedures. • Prepare and issue plans which detail the operations, maintenance, training for each facility. • Prepare and deliver daily/weekly management briefs and presentations. • Represent the company at internal/external meetings / briefs as required, including the production of any associated supporting materials/presentations. • Maintain accurate database records of all processing plans for all required and associated items. • Provide updates on processing information as required to senior management and stakeholders. • Chair/support scheduling meetings for relevant work areas. • Liaise with required internal and external authorities on all Strategic Weapon System related tasking / planning matters. • Assess updates to the external programme documents for impact to depot processing schedules and advise senior management. • Raise work demands as necessary to support production plans. • To support Line Manager with monitoring and progressing the clearance of audits corrective action measures. • Support work colleagues within the planning team, as required and directed. • To ensure compliance with Security Regulations as detailed in the Depot Security Orders. • Receive regular on the job training, competency and certification to ensure competency is maintained.
