A brilliant primary school in South Bristol is on the lookout for a committed and capable KS2 Learning Support Assistant to join their team this September. You’ll be supporting pupils across Year 3-6, with a focus on positive behaviour management and emotional regulation.
This is a role where your presence really matters, helping children stay focused, feel safe, and build trust in themselves and the adults around them.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting individual pupils and small groups in class
* Helping children stay on task and manage behaviour positively
* Working closely with teachers and the pastoral team to put strategies in place
* Encouraging resilience, confidence, and independent learning
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working in KS2 settings (desirable)
* Strong behaviour management skills—calm, consistent, and clear
* A warm, confident approach to building relationships
* Someone proactive and patient, with a good sense of humour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
