Purpose Of the Role:
To adhere to established processes efficiently and within required timeframes, ensuring that operations within the TT Warehouse meet and exceed customer-specific requirements. This includes carrying out all operational activities both as part of a team and independently within the Transit Terminal.
Responsibilities
* Efficient movement of freight within the Transit Terminal
* Proper loading and unloading of freight
* Use of the correct Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for terminal activities
* Timely and accurate damage reporting, following established procedures
* Adherence to Health and Safety protocols, including all Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
* Daily use of IT equipment, including scanners and computers, to perform all tasks
* Accurate completion of all documentation related to assigned tasks
* Timely execution of loading and unloading activities, meeting all scheduled deadlines
The ideal candidate will have
* Experience in storing and retrieving heavy or high-value goods
* Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
* Excellent attention to detail
* Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
* Proficient in using computer systems
* Competent manual handling skills
* Good awareness of Health and Safety regulations
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
