We're looking for a Planning Manager to join our Construction team at Kier Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the planning function on a major project in the healthcare sector.
Location: London/Cambridge.
Hours: Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
The role does not offer sponsorship certificates.
As Planning Manager, you'll drive planning consistency, governance, leadership and best practice across major projects valued in excess of £200m. You'll provide expert leadership on programme development and assurance throughout the full project lifecycle, from early development and tender through to construction and completion.
What will you be responsible for?
* Creating and maintaining fully integrated project programmes in line with Kier National Planning Standards
* Providing expert tactical and strategic programme advice to support bids, PCSA and project development
* Conducting independent programme reviews and health checks to ensure compliance
* Line managing members of the planning team, developing capability and embedding high standards
* Leading planning on high-value tenders and projects, reviewing progress and identifying improvement opportunities
What are we looking for?
* You have advanced experience with P6 software and Asta Powerproject
* You bring strong planning governance and leadership capabilities
* You have proven staff management experience and enjoy developing others
* You possess extensive knowledge of construction methodologies
* You have exposure to large scale construction or infrastructure projects
