Overview
Veritas Education are seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) across Lancashire. Schools across Lancashire are recruiting for TAs Level 4 or 5 qualified. These HLTA roles are on a short and long term basis, within a variety of schools including 'Good' and 'Outstanding'.
Role information
* Cover whole classes for PPA release time throughout the school
* Plan and deliver maths and literacy intervention schemes, working with small groups
* Have extensive phonics knowledge and be confident in delivering phonics interventions to EAL children
* Cover sickness within school and work across both Key Stage 1 & 2
Location and hours
* Lancashire: Preston, Leyland, Chorley
* Full and Part time positions
* £80 - £100 per day depending on role

HLTA Requirements
* Must be a qualified HLTA level 4 or above
* Have previous experience working in primary schools ideally across Key Stage 1 & 2
* Set out engaging lesson with high expectation for the pupils
* Experience working with a varied abilities and being able to adapt to different settings
