Welsh-Speaking Year 2 Teacher – Full Time – Cardiff Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a Welsh-medium primary school in Cardiff, starting full-time in September 2025. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in Welsh across the Year 2 curriculum Track pupil progress, complete assessments, and provide targeted support where needed Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported Work closely with teaching assistants, specialist staff, and families Take an active role in whole-school life, events, and language promotion Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Fluent in Welsh (spoken and written) Experience teaching in the Foundation Phase or Key Stage 1 A strong understanding of the Curriculum for Wales and child-centred practice Passionate about Welsh language education and supporting pupil wellbeing This is a rewarding opportunity for a confident classroom practitioner to make a real impact in a vibrant Welsh-speaking school.
