Female Support Worker*
Leicester
We are looking for experienced children’s complex care workers to care for a 9-year-old boy with Dyskinetic Cerebral Palsy. Must be able to complete manual handling, drug administration and personal care. Also, must be adaptable, playful and be happy to carry out hydrotherapy and wider family support when needed.
Our client is moving to Leicester at the end of September, with his parents and younger brother. We would love to hear from you if you want to support this child and his family, to ensure he can live the best life possible. He is PEG fed and sometimes requires oral suction, so experience with these would be preferred. Within his new property, there is a brand-new hydrotherapy pool, which will be used by his physiotherapist and parents. We would love his carers to be able to assist with hydrotherapy at home too!
Our client goes to school during term time, where he does not need a carer present, so family support will be needed during this time.
The hours we are looking for are below, although start times may vary due to school transport. We are looking for 2-3 candidates to share these shifts between them, and therefore we can be flexible with number of hours/days. Rota’s will be provided at least 6 weeks in advance!
