Role Overview
A specialist school just outside Salisbury is looking for a recent Psychology or Criminology graduate to join their support team and work with students coping with social, emotional and mental health needs. This role is ideal for a graduate aspiring to become a trained psychologist, with a genuine interest in supporting children with psychological needs.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with class teachers and other staff to educate pupils.
* Assist in managing challenging behaviours and provide one‑to‑one support to keep pupils on task.
* Identify potential triggers related to pupils’ trauma and mental health needs.
* Facilitate therapeutic techniques and employ restorative practices to promote mental well‑being.
Qualifications and Experience
* Recent graduate in Psychology or Criminology.
* Proactive, friendly, resilient and passionate about mental health support.
* Previous experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs is beneficial.
Compensation and Availability
* £90‑£100 per day.
* Based in Salisbury.
* ASAP start.
