Job Description
3. Manage the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
4. Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT, PAYE, and other statutory tax filings.
5. Provide guidance on tax planning strategies to optimise the company's tax position.
6. Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise on their potential impact on the business.
7. Work closely with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance and resolve tax-related queries.
8. Develop and implement internal tax policies and procedures to streamline processes.
9. Support cross-functional teams on tax implications for business decisions and transactions.
10. Prepare detailed tax reports for senior management, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Manager should have:
11. Professional qualifications in tax or accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
12. Extensive knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations, particularly in the Technology & Telecoms industry.
13. Proven experience in tax compliance, reporting, and planning.
14. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
15. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
16. Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
