About the Role:
The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking a Senior Human Factors Engineer to join a Leading Nuclear Defence Client
Key responsibilities include:
7. Prepare Human Factors Substantiation Reports (HFSRs)
8. Develop Fault Trees
9. Calculate Initial Human Error Probability (I-HEP)
10. Provide Human Factors input to Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.
11. Engage with safety and site teams to integrate Human Factors into the project.
12. Contribute to the integration of Human Factors into the wider project for the Defuel project at Devonport.
What you need to succeed:
13. Degree-level education in Engineering/Scientific discipline
14. Background in nuclear/radiological safety is beneficial.
15. Chartered Engineer registration (or working towards)
16. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
17. Previous experience in Human Factors work.
18. Familiarity with Human Factors related software.
19. Eligibility for Ministry of Defence security clearance
20. Willingness to work in a regulated environment.
