The Mindset: What You’ll Actually Do
* Own the Outcome: You’ll build and ship production code frequently, taking genuine ownership of features from the initial idea through to long-term maintenance.
* Modern Rails Engineering: The core backend is built on Ruby on Rails with PostgreSQL deployed to the cloud. On the frontend, you'll work with modern styling tools and increasingly leverage reactive, server-driven approaches to craft seamless user experiences.
* Production & Infrastructure: They manage infrastructure as code (IaC), and you’ll be actively encouraged to get involved in how your systems are deployed, monitored, and operated in production.
* No Rigid Corporate Tape: They value mindset and real-world impact over checking boxes for \"years of experience.\" They love engineers who enjoy simplifying complex, loosely defined problems into clean, deliverable code.
What We’re Looking For
* Ruby on Rails
* Full-Stack Comfort: You are happy working across both backend and frontend concerns, with an eye for the end-user experience.
* Strong Engineering Disciplines: You care deeply about writing maintainable, well-tested code. Experience or an interest in Test-Driven Development (TDD), event-driven systems, or modern JavaScript is a massive plus.
* Collaborative & Curious: You enjoy code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and working closely with non-technical stakeholders to solve meaningful customer problems.
