Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Kinship Care Team Pay rate £40-£45 per hour Contract role Vitalis are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work as a Team Manager in a Kinship Care team in Stockport. A team leader of a Kinship Care Team which sits within a fostering service has been created to cover sickness. The duration of this sickness cover is not yet confirmed but there may be another TL post that also needs covering at the end of this arrangement. The main task of this post is to manage the Assessing Social Workers who undertake Form K Assessments and SGO Assessments. The vast majority of the Form K assessments are court directed. The TL manages approx. 5 SWs. The Team Leader is also responsible for managing the kinship care team duty system (Monday - Friday working hours). There are 2 full time duty social workers who share the task of duty with their main tasks being regulation 24 assessments and PLO and Court Directed VAs. It is an essential requirement that the TL has fostering/kinship care experience. Don’t forget, if this role isn’t the perfect fit, we’re confident we can find one that is.
