You will be responsible for transporting goods, materials, or passengers safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to all road and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
* Deliver goods or transport passengers to designated locations on time
* Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries and collections
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
* Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or passengers
* Ensure all loads are secure and handled with care
Requirements:
* Valid driving license (relevant category depending on vehicle type)
* Proven experience as a driver (e.g., delivery driver, van driver, HGV/LGV driver)
* Good knowledge of local routes and navigation systems
* Strong time management and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends if required
Desirable:
* Clean driving record
* Experience in logistics or distribution
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CPC for HGV drivers)
