We enable the world's largest enterprises to deliver secure, high-performing digital experiences. Our SDR team partners with both the Field and Inside Sales organizations. We guide the early stages of the sales cycle, assisting with new customer acquisition. Become a trusted advisor to customers As a Channel SDR, you will generate qualified pipeline through Akamai's partner ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and channel, activating partners to drive net-new opportunities in the UK&I Region. As a Channel SDR, you will be responsible for: Driving partner-led pipeline through outbound prospecting and account mapping Executing co-sell motions with Channel Managers and Account Executives Supporting partner campaigns, events, and follow-up on leads Conducting account research using intent data and partner insights Qualifying opportunities and ensure successful handoff to sales Developing early stage deal registrations to create velocity in channel pipeline Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have outbound prospecting experience or be able to demonstrate relevant, equivalent sales experience as an SDR/BDR/Inside Sales Have experience identifying business needs through information-gathering to pre-qualify opportunities Be comfortable speaking with decision makers via various mediums (social, email, phone and video) Have familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn, 6sense Enjoy working in a team and have a desire to grow in the organization About us At Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.
