We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Sales & Pricing Analyst to join our team in Hindley Green, Wigan on a full time, permanent basis. The successful Sales & Pricing Analyst will be responsible for turning complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions, support growth and improved profitability. Working closely with sales, product and finance you will provide the business with accurate reporting, robust analysis and data-driver recommendations.

As our Sales & Pricing Analyst your Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities will include;
* Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities and risks
* Assess the profitability of existing products and make recommendations for optimisation
* Develop and recommend pricing strategies based on market analysis and competitive benchmarking.
* Partner with New Product Development (NPD) teams to evaluate the commercial viability of new products
* Conduct margin and profitability analysis.
* Conduct margin and profitability analysis.
* Monitor pricing compliance and discount effectiveness.
* Support promotional pricing and product launch pricing models.
* Evaluate impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.
* Review macro-economic factors which could affect departments commercially (forecasts, pricing, logistics etc) including (but not exhaustive to) exchange rate, UK economy & consumer confidence
Our ideal Sales & Pricing Analyst will have the following skills / experience;
* Strong background in commercial analysis working with large data sets and creating reports
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualisation or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
* Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, modelling, data analysis)
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability with keen attention to detail
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data to non-technical audiences
* Experience in pricing strategy and/or product profitability analysis is highly desirable
* Degree in Mathematics, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field preferred
* Good team player with a positive attitude to driving team goals
