Main duties of the job
The successful candidate would be expected to work alongside other clinicians in the primary care team in the provision of patient care and undertake the following:
Complex wound care
Vaccination and immunisations
Travel health advise and immunisation
Venepuncture
Adherence and proactive to the demands of the Quality and Outcomes Framework with particular view to Diabetes Asthma and COPD
Family planning and Women's Health
Male health
Recognise and work within own competencies and professional code of conduct regulated by the NMC

Jobsummary PRACTICE NURSE
Thepost holder is responsible for the delivery of basic practice nursing servicescare to the practice population. Supported by other practice nurses within thepractice, they will deliver care within the boundaries of their role, focusingupon supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring of long-term conditions,health prevention and screening activities.
