Due to continued success and growth, they’re seeking four AML & Conflicts Analysts to join their dynamic and inclusive team in either Birmingham or Manchester.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from those currently at analyst level, assistants looking to step up, or paralegals who have come across conflicts in their day-to-day work. Candidates must have experience within a law firm or wider legal services environment.
The Role
As an AML & Conflicts Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the firm’s regulatory compliance and client due diligence processes run smoothly. You’ll work closely with lawyers and support teams across the business, helping to assess and manage risk while maintaining the highest standards of integrity.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Collecting and reviewing client due diligence (CDD) for new clients and matters
* Conducting in-depth research using company registries, corporate databases, and risk-screening tools
* Advising fee earners on source-of-funds checks and AML requirements
* Carrying out client and matter risk assessments using Intapp
* Performing conflicts of interest searches and analysing results
* Liaising with lawyers to resolve potential conflicts and escalate issues where necessary
* Supporting the continuous improvement of AML and conflicts processes
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone with:
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in AML, conflicts, or broader legal compliance (experience with Intapp is highly desirable)
* A background in a law firm or legal services environment
* Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
* A background in Law, Risk Management, Business, or a related discipline
This role offers the chance to join a well-established but fast-growing compliance function within a highly regarded law firm that values development, collaboration, and internal progression.
Benefits
Alongside a competitive salary of up to £40,793, you’ll have access to a range of benefits, including:
* Annual bonus scheme
* Generous pension contribution
* Private medical insurance (including wellness perks such as discounted gym memberships and cinema tickets)
* Ongoing professional development and career support
If you’re ready to build your expertise within a thriving compliance team and contribute to a firm that truly invests in its people, we’d love to hear from you.
