Overview:
A leading global quantitative and systematic investment manager is seeking a Software Developer focused on Regulatory Technology. The individual will join an expanding Regulatory Reporting function within the Compliance team, working closely with business, compliance, and IT partners. As a Regulatory Technology Developer, you’ll help preserve the integrity of regulatory reporting processes and ensure accurate, timely submission of data to global regulators.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and enhance regulatory reporting systems and controls.
* Develop automation solutions leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
* Routinely evaluate regulatory reporting risks and adapt systems as regulations evolve.
* Collaborate across departments to ensure full compliance and to strengthen the compliance function's technological capabilities.
* Maintain and optimize current regulatory reporting infrastructure.
* Design and uphold processes for data validation and quality assurance.
* Identify and implement process improvements that boost accuracy and efficiency.
* Provide technical support for regulatory technology systems.
* Engage with stakeholders to resolve compliance-related technical queries.
Experience:
* Experienced polyglot developer with at least 8 years of programming experience; strong proficiency in Python required.
* Solid grasp of SQL and database management.
* Track record of building frameworks and tools from the ground up.
* Understanding of financial derivative products.
* Hands-on experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex technical issues.
* Familiarity with contemporary software architecture and cloud platforms.
* Eagerness to learn and explore new technologies.
* Creative thinker capable of enhancing technical implementations.
