About the School
Connex Education is in partnership with a vibrant Primary School within the Derby area to recruit a Primary Send Teaching Assistant to work on a regular relief cover in the school in Derby starting from December/January.
You will have strong teamwork skills as the school in question has a key focus on teamwork and collaboration to be able to achieve student and school goals. This school is at the heart of a thriving and creative community, and you will need to meet high standards and match the ambitious expectations alongside the staff and the governors. A key ethos and aim for this school are to ensure all learners are provided focused support to ensure excellent progress is made.
About the Role
Duties will include general classroom support for all pupils, facilitating learning through play and small group interventions for pupils requiring additional help. The successful candidate must have the ability to work in close partnership with the Class Teacher in helping to promote the acquisition of learning goals.
