Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 4 months in the first instance. The University is seeking to appoint a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to contribute to an interdisciplinary project at the intersection of vision science and AR display technologies. The postholder will play a central role in advancing our understanding of colour perception by developing models that help design better colour spaces for AR technologies. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a researcher with expertise in visual psychophysics and computational modelling to contribute to a cutting-edge programme of work, and to develop their academic profile within a collaborative and stimulating research environment. It is essential that applicants hold a PhD in a relevant subject, or have equivalent experience. Excellent computational, programming skills and the ability to build and test quantitative models are a requirement.
