Job Description
Were looking for an enthusiastic communications specialist with strong content production skills. As a member of EMBLs distributed Communications group and EMBL-EBIs Communications team, you will produce high-quality content, and support the day-to-day running of social media. You will also use your media relations skills to identify and get press coverage for EMBL-EBI stories.

You have
* Experience of developing engaging content for a variety of platforms and audiences and a talent for telling stories using creative and innovative approaches.
* Experience of pitching technical stories to the media, identifying stories with media potential, working with journalists and briefing spokespeople.
* Experience and understanding of how to produce content for and manage digital channels including social media.
* An understanding of best practice approaches in evaluating communications activities.
* A passion for science and technology and a well developed ability to build relationships and work as part of a team.
You may also have
* Another European language
* Experience in search engine and AI search optimisation, event management or experience creating digital assets using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
