Role Overview
Job Allocation & Coordination: Assign tasks to Service Technicians based on skill level and job requirements, coordinating closely with the Parts Department for timely parts availability and updating Service Advisors on job progress.
Resource Management & Control: Manage departmental resources, authorise purchases for non-franchise parts, and ensure warranty work complies with guidelines.
Customer Service & Complaint Resolution: Monitor customer service quality, address issues proactively, and maintain a record of complaints for review and resolution.
Performance Monitoring & Team Development: Conduct appraisals, implement training plans, and track monthly accounts to monitor profitability and productivity.
Workshop Organisation & Safety Compliance: Maintain housekeeping standards, organise overtime to meet demands, and ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
