Mechanic Location:Hamilton Salary: £600 - £800 per week Hours: Dayshift, 9am to 5pm with OT avaialable Contract: Full-time, Permanent The Role Apex Resources Limited are currently looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our clients busy and growing workshop. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a mixed fleet of HGVs to DVSA standards, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, and roadworthy at all times. Key Responsibilities * Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs * Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment * Complete MOT preparation and inspections * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines * Maintain accurate job cards and service records * Comply with health & safety regulations at all times Requirements * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Desirable * Previous experience as an a Car Mechanic * Good understanding of DVSA regulations * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Full UK driving licence needed What We Offer * Competitive salary with overtime available * Ongoing training and career development * Supportive team environment If interested, please apply now with an up to date CV
