About the Role
As a Chemistry Teacher at our state school, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons to students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5. * Curriculum Delivery: Teach Chemistry in line with the national curriculum, ensuring students gain a strong foundation in key topics such as atomic structure, chemical reactions, and organic chemistry.

Key Responsibilities as a Chemistry Teacher
* Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create and deliver innovative and engaging Chemistry lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, ensuring that lessons are both challenging and accessible to all students.
* Foster Student Development: Help students build a strong understanding of Chemistry and develop practical laboratory skills.
* Collaborative Teaching: Work closely with other Chemistry Teachers to share best practices and ensure consistency in lesson delivery and assessments across the department.
* Extra-Curricular Activities: Contribute to the department’s extra-curricular offerings, such as science clubs, field trips, and student science fairs, to enhance the learning experience outside of the classroom.
What We Are Looking For in a Chemistry Teacher
* A Qualified Chemistry Teacher: You should have a degree in Chemistry (or a related subject) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A Passion for Chemistry: We are looking for someone who is passionate about Chemistry and committed to making the subject engaging and accessible to all students.
* Experience with Chemistry: While this position is open to both experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECTs), experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 is desirable.
