Security Architect Cloud / DevSecOps
Location: Hybrid 23 days every fortnight on-site in Newcastle
Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for UK Security Clearance
Rate: £400£550 per day (Inside IR35)
About the Role
Were seeking an experienced Security Architect with strong Cloud and DevSecOps expertise to join our team.
In this high-impact role, you will lead the definition and implementation of the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring solutions meet business needs, compliance requirements, and performance goals. Youll act as a subject matter expert, guiding technical teams, influencing architectural decisions, and embedding secure-by-design principles across the full delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Define and maintain the cloud security architecture and framework, aligned with organisational strategy and governance.
2. Document and oversee the implementation of cloud security controls, ensuring smooth transition to managed operations.
3. Provide technical leadership across multiple project teams, setting best practice and architectural standards.
4. Design and deliver innovative cloud security solutions that align with enterprise cloud strategy.
