RECEPTIONIST
Alford Medical Group currently has a vacancy for a friendly, helpful and motivated Medical Receptionist to work as part of our team.
Hours: Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays-8am to 6pm
Experience with GP software- Vision, Docman and Excel would be an advantage
Some flexibility in hours of work is required as different or additional hours may be required, by mutual agreement, to cover holiday/illness.
The Duties
* Dealing with patient appointments - both at reception and on the phone
* Registering and maintaining patient records
* Dealing with patient queries (including requests for prescriptions, test results and general information)
* Using software (Vision, Docman, SCI, Word, Excel etc)
* General administration
* Any other duties which you may be asked to complete from time to time

* Communicate well with others both patients and your colleagues
* Respond quickly, efficiently and helpfully to all enquiries and requests
* Take care when completing tasks to make sure that your work is accurate
* Deal with and adapt to changing demands and priorities
* Help and support all colleagues
* Listen to others, ask the right questions and understand what you are being asked to do - asking for help when you need it.
* Deal well with difficult situations
* Maintain confidentiality
Salary is dependent on experience -. You will be eligible for membership of the NHS pension scheme.
