Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and improve policies, procedures, and systems in accordance with relevant and CQC legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines.
* Manage the recruitment, training, and performance of your care staff and support workers to ensure they provide safe, effective, and compassionate care and support to our service users.
* Demonstrate a “hands on” approach to care delivery and compassionate leadership to your staff.
* Develop and maintain relationships with referrers and the Local Authorities.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with our service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
* Monitor and review the quality of the service we provide and implement improvements where necessary.
* Manage the budget for the service and ensure that resources are used effectively and efficiently.
* Manage and oversee the administration and financial aspects of the service.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
* Qualified Health and Social Care Diploma level 4/5
* Domiciliary homecare experience (2 years preferred)
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager (1 year preferred)
* Experience in Supported Living and other related services (preferred)
* Experience in dealing with regulatory requirements.
