Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient operations within our establishment. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to manage both staff and customer interactions effectively. The Front of House Supervisor will oversee daily operations, assist in staff training, and maintain high standards of food safety and service quality.
Duties
* Supervise daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
* Train, develop, and manage staff to uphold service standards and enhance team performance.
* Ensure accurate transactions using POS systems such as Epos Now.
* Manage inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
* Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
* Implement training programs for new hires focusing on hospitality management, food service management, and restaurant experience.
* Conduct interviews for potential new team members to maintain a skilled workforce.
* Assist in budgeting processes related to front-of-house operations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry, preferably in quick service or fine dining settings.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
* Familiarity with POS systems (Epos Now) for efficient transaction processing.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Experience in staff training & development, ensuring all team members meet performance expectations.
* Background in restaurant management or hospitality management is highly desirable.
* Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
* Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes is an asset.
* Culinary experience or kitchen management knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
