This Trainee Accountant opportunity has arisen due to retirement after 40 years of service from a long-standing team member, which is a testament to the type of business they are! They now have the opportunity to provide someone with the chance to learn, develop and grow their skillset in a Trainee Accountant role, starting off at a transactional level and moving into month-end involvement and more! What will you be doing? Taking responsibility for Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger invoicing processes. Dealing with payments and cash allocation. Keeping both ledgers up to date and accurate. Dealing with bank reconciliations. Assisting with payroll processing. Carrying out supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries. Supporting month-end processes as your skills increase. Assisting the Finance Director with any additional duties as required.
