You will lead facilities management including contributing expertise to capital infra-structure projects and leading support functions (Facility maintenance, Catering and Housekeeping/Cleaning) and lead Health Safety and Environmental on site in Newry. Facilities Management Review and develop the facilities maintenance plan ensuring necessary & agreed work is carried professionally and within time and cost constraints. Lead Facilities related functions including Facility maintenance, Catering and Housekeeping ensuring effective performance management and development of line reports. Review and maintain Facilities and HSE related service contracts, developing a preferred supplier list and ensuring contractors maintain appropriate professional standards and represent optimum value for money. Lead response to unforeseen facility maintenance needs ensuring work completed promptly, effectively and within agreed costs. Manage any facilities related projects including effective management of external contractors & engineers. Capital Projects Act as Estates lead in the planning and delivery of the new building. Collaborate with architects, design consultants, and contractors to ensure the facility is developed in line with healthcare regulations and sustainability standards. Provide technical oversight on design, engineering, M&E systems, infrastructure, and security solutions. Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive maintenance procedures. Manage service contracts and suppliers for cleaning, security, waste management, landscaping, and building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing). Health & Safety Review and maintain health safety & wellness policies and practices Manage relevant service providers including fire safety, Legionella & asbestos control, electrical safety etc Ensure an effective internal health & safety audit program is maintained Ensure risk assessment and incident investigation and accident reporting are effective and regularly reviewed Salary will be circa 50-60K depending on experience.
