Mid point of Band 5 - £35,235 Inc HCAS per annum pro rata
Fixed term: 12 months - Full time - hours per week

Bromley Healthcare is offering sponsorship for qualified Midwives and Registered Nurses to complete the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing qualification to become School Nurses.
We are invested in the development of School Nursing and this is underpinned by our Public Health Nursing strategy and training programme for all roles within the PHN teams.
All School Nurses have corporate membership with the School and Public Health Nursing Association (SAPHNA) which offers a wealth of professional training programmes and resources to support excellent practice.

About us
The university:
Bromley Healthcare sponsors SCPHN HVs and SNs in partnership with King's College London.
The Specialist Community Public Health Visiting Postgraduate Diploma course is tailored to offer the professional qualification for qualified nurses who wish to gain entry to the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing part of the National Midwifery Council (NMC) register as a School Nurse. This course is offered as a Level 7 programme.
The course commences in Sept 2024 and is being offered on a full-time basis. The NMC Standards of Proficiency for Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (SCPHN) are now approved and Kings College London are re-validating this programme in line with these standards. KCL will be open for applications to the re-validated programmes in late May 2024.

The interview:
There will be 3 parts to the interview to allow candidates to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and personal attributes. There will be a group activity and a formal interview with a panel represented by the university and the public health nursing services (health visiting and school nursing). There will also be a lunch where you will get to meet Health Visitors and School Nurses.
