Validation Technician (Temporary) Ref: (26_11) We are seeking a Validation Technician to support a range of validation and qualification activities associated with facilities, utilities, systems, and processes; and to comply with the principles of cGMP, along with providing administrative support to the Validation department. Duties will include: Work under the direct supervision of the Department Manager / Team Leader / Senior Validation Engineer Generation, of validation documentation (protocols and reports) and assist in the execution of qualifications such as IQ/OQ/PQ Liaise with personnel from key stakeholder departments to ensure the timely and compliant completion of validation and qualification activities Recording and reporting of process data Ensure all data and results are accurately reported and follow up on any gaps or discrepancies Review of vendor commissioning / qualification / validation documentation Reporting of validation non-conformances and providing solutions to remediate issues Ensure that high standards of GMP are maintained at all times Maintain complete and accurate records of all qualification / validation activities and results generated throughout the validation lifecycle Assist in the generation, review, and approval of Standard Operating Procedures Ensure that all materials required to support qualification and validation activities are available Performing non-routine testing and quality activities as requested by the department manager Support site compliance through execution and documentation of ongoing periodic review and requalification of critical systems Execution of routine qualification activities in accordance with approved schedules Provide administrative support to the Validation Department (includes management of documentation, document archiving, document formatting) Assist in the execution of operational testing to support product and client related validation activities Applicants must possess: 5x GCSEs grades A-C (or equivalent), to include English & Mathematics Demonstratable experience of applying organisational skills and co-ordinating a daily workload o Knowledge of GMP and quality assurance systems Proficient in the use of IT applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Effective communication skills (written & oral) Strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills o Priority setting skills High attention to detail Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team In addition the following would be a distinct advantage: A-Level qualifications (or equivalent) IT based qualification Experience within an established Quality Management System Experience within a Pharmaceutical or Medical Device manufacturing environment o Experience within a quality or validation role Experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device product manufacturing, filling, or packaging processes Experience gained within a production / manufacturing environment Experience gained within a software testing environment To apply for this vacancy,please submit your CV via our Terumo BCT careers portal mySource before the closing date of5pm, Thursday 16th April 2026.
