GSL are looking for an enthusiastic PLMD Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive SEN school, working with students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PLMD). If you are a committed PLMD Teacher ready to make a real difference in the lives of children, this could be the perfect role for you!
Responsibilities of a PLMD Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and adapted lessons to meet the needs of students with PLMD
* Create a safe and supportive classroom environment
* Collaborate with support staff to ensure each pupil's individual needs are met
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and carers
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
Requirements for a PLMD Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to adapt lessons and materials for varying needs.
* A compassionate and patient approach.
