An opportunity has arisen for 3 new team members to join our team of care-navigators in our busy and friendly surgery. The positions are part-time, approx 25hrs per week. Hours are spread over Monday to Friday but will include a mix of both mornings (8.00am - 1.30pm) and afternoon shifts (1.30pm-6.30pm), extended access hours on a rota basis (currently under review) will be required. We will require any successful candidate to be able to cover holiday and sickness as overtime as and when the needs of the surgery require it. Experience in a GP/healthcare setting is essential as is experience of using SystmOne.
We are a busy GP practice and are looking for an enthusiastic, conscientious individual with experience who can work as part of a friendly team. You will be required to receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
* You will be required to deal with patients both in person and on the telephone.
* Carry out administrative tasks as requested by the GPs.
* Deal with patient queries.
* To work in accordance with written protocols and procedures.
* To adhere to confidentiality at all times.
* To attend all staff training (including PLT sessions one Wednesday per month) and ensure all mandatory training is up to date.
* Attend staff meetings.
* To cover all aspects of reception as and when required.
* Be available to cover sickness & annual leave, overtime when required by the needs of the business.
