He kupu mō mātou | About us
Established in 2012, our Darfield site has three production plants – two milk powder plants including a world's largest spray drier producing 33 metric tonnes per hour, and a newly operational cream cheese plant producing 4.5 metric tonne of cream cheese every hour. During peak season, we process up to 7.2 million litres of milk every day.
Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity
* Working on a rostered shift pattern you will be aligned to one of our processing plants in either the control room or on the factory floor with your key responsibilities being:
* Setting up, checking and running automated production machinery safely and efficiently
* Performing quality checks to ensure production meets world class standards
* Running production processes and machine diagnostics to ensure quality standards are met
* Ensuring documentation is correct and complete
* Maintain a clean and organised work area and ensure all health, safety and quality procedures are followed at all times
These roles are a fantastic opportunity if you are serious about advancing your career and gaining hands on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment with the support of a highly motivated and engaged work whanau.
These positions offer fantastic work-life balance, working a rotating rostered shift pattern of 2 x 12-hour day shifts, 2 x 12-hour nights shifts, followed by 4 rostered days off. Please note this is a 6 month-fixed term contract.
Mōu | About You
Your strong mechanical aptitude, planning and sound problem-solving skills will ensure things run smoothly; you won't just find the problem, you'll be part of finding and implementing the solution.
Together with a good work ethic and a strong focus on health and safety, you'll be physically fit and able to show a background of:
* Participating and contributing to a high performing team
* Operating touch screen machinery
* Food manufacturing experience is desirable
* Current Forklift licence required
