What You Will Do
Lead the Van Sales team for the Eastern Region, driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
Location
Working in the Eastern Region with the base location in Dunstable, Reading, or West Thurrock.
Responsibilities
* Sell Renault Trucks van products and service agreements in line with agreed sales targets.
* Maintain current key account customer relationships.
* Actively prospect for business with both new and existing customers.
* Attend customer calls and meetings with the Van sales team to support in selling and closing deals.
* Promote and lead the development of customer relations.
* Implement promotional campaigns in conjunction with marketing and review effectiveness.
* Conduct commercial appraisals of deals to maximise the company’s financial position.
* Manage the Van Sales P&L, relevant balance sheet position, and working capital (stock) in conjunction with the Sales Director.
* Represent the region at key internal and external meetings, including meetings with market company, Renault Trucks UK, and Ireland.
* Ensure effective working relationships within RTC and RTUK.
* Ensure the Van sales team effectively uses the CRM system to manage customer relationships and maximise sales opportunities.
* Coach and mentor direct reports to fulfil their roles effectively.
* Set sales targets and objectives for the Van sales team with the Sales Director.
* Ensure the Van sales team complies with company sales processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Develop commission schemes for the Van sales team with the Sales Director.
Qualifications
* Formal training in management and leadership.
* Evidence of successfully leading, managing, coaching and mentoring employees.
* Evidence of running successful sales operations in the Commercial Vehicle industry.
* Good understanding of the Light Commercial vehicle retail business & environment.
