We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically skilled full-time Research Assistant to join Dr. Meng Zhu's lab located at the Gurdon Institute, University of Cambridge.
The lab is interested in understanding the development of limb, and the developmental reversal of the jellyfish system, and how environmental factors, genetics, and cellular regulators facilitate these processes.
Responsibilities
* Support the establishment and day‑to‑day running of the laboratory.
* Assist with research activities across the group, including maintaining essential equipment, building and maintaining databases, ensuring safe working practices, negotiating with suppliers, and monitoring lab expenditure.
* Assist with mice colony maintenance and jellyfish culture.
* Work with mice, human tissues, and the jellyfish system.
* May undertake an independent project if highly motivated.
