Job Description
My client is a leading food manufacturer looking to take on a Manager to run the company's 7 Growing sites who is bright and eager to develop as part of the site-based Growing Team.
The role is within commuting distance of London and is a great opportunity for anyone looking to broaden their horizons within the food industry. This position is site-based and will report to the Head of Growing.
The Role:
• People Management – Overseeing 7 Supervisors and ensuring they are providing the best work
• Managing Environmental Control through the Priva System
• Maintaining Close Relationships with Commercial and Technical Teams
• Key participation in External and Internal Audits (BRC, Red Tractor)
The Candidate:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a growing environment
• Can-do, resilient attitude. Needs to be very hands on
• Growing experience supplying UK Supermarkets
• Audit experience with emphasis on Red Tractor and Leaf
