Site Supervisor Job Overview
This role oversees the site's daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as operational requirements. The successful candidate will manage resources effectively, distribute tasks accordingly, and maintain accurate records.
Main Responsibilities:
* Operations Management: Oversee the site's 12-hour shift, ensuring all areas operate smoothly, with a focus on compliance, health & safety, and resource distribution.
* Resource Distribution: Plan and implement resource allocation strategies to meet operational demands, adapting plans as necessary.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of handover reports, KPIs, and other essential data.
Skill Requirements:
* Operational Knowledge: Possess a good understanding of site operations, including COSHH, IOSH, forklift, confined space, environmental permitting & awareness, emissions monitoring, accident & investigation, permit to work, hazard identification & risk assessment, asbestos awareness, legionella awareness, fire awareness, working at height, hand arm vibration, electrical safety, fire marshal, MEWP, tower scaffold, slinging & lifting.
* Leadership: Demonstrate successful people management skills, championing health & safety initiatives.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in IT software packages, with excellent record-keeping abilities and task management skills.
