The opportunity This is not a traditional HR leadership role. You will be a trusted partner to senior leaders, helping to steer organisational direction through insight-led people strategy. Key responsibilities Strategic leadership Lead the development and delivery of the divisional people strategy, aligned to commercial and operational goals Act as a senior advisor to executive stakeholders on organisational design, performance, reward and workforce planning Use people insight and data to support sustainable growth and informed decision-making Talent & succession Own succession planning for key roles and develop robust internal talent pipelines Champion early careers, emerging talent and future leadership initiatives Partner closely with resourcing teams to ensure attraction, retention and a strong candidate experience Leadership capability & culture Coach and challenge senior leaders to build capability, accountability and high performance Lead and develop a high-performing HR team, setting clear direction and standards Identify organisational development and learning priorities to support long-term success Employee experience & engagement Drive engagement strategies using people metrics and feedback mechanisms Create inclusive, flexible and agile employee propositions that support wellbeing and performance Ensure colleagues feel heard, valued and connected to the organisation's purpose Values, inclusion & social impact Embed values, inclusion and ethical leadership across the division Support initiatives that strengthen social value, community impact and responsible business practices Champion a safe, respectful environment where diversity of thought and background is welcomed Please note: Experience within the healthcare sector is a must for this role
