Description
As Disturbia continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious People & Culture Assistant to join our People & Culture Team. This is a great position for someone passionate about fostering a great company culture and eager to interact with every department, shaping the wider company culture.
This role will report to and partner with the People & Culture Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Administration: Managing administrative tasks such as writing employee change of term letters, maintaining the HR system (Sage), and drafting contracts.
2. Recruitment: Assisting the P&C Manager with recruitment activities, scheduling interviews, and providing timely feedback to candidates.
3. Onboarding: Leading the onboarding process to ensure all steps are completed on time and creating a positive first impression for new hires.
4. Monthly Newsletter: Preparing engaging content for the monthly newsletter.
5. Social & CSR: Participating in the company social committee and supporting the organization of company events and CSR initiatives.
6. Health & Safety: Organizing health and safety training as directed by the P&C Manager.
7. Policy: Staying informed about employment law changes and ensuring policies are up-to-date.
8. HR System Management: Keeping the HR system updated with accurate job descriptions and employee details.
9. Culture: Actively contributing to the company culture, building relationships, and being a trusted contact within the team.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should ideally possess some or all of the following qualities:
* Some previous HR experience is desirable but not essential. A desire to pursue a career in people management and transferable skills are important.
* Experience in an office environment, preferably in a fast-paced, non-corporate setting.
* Discretion when handling confidential employee information.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Organized and efficient working style.
* Proactive in building relationships across the business.
* Professional demeanor.
