Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee CAD Technician to join their growing team in Hereford. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced designers and draughtsmen on a range of exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the production of technical drawings for multiple assigned contracts, as directed by the Senior Draughtsman.
* Liaise with customers to agree on general arrangement drawings and resolve any identified issues.
* Ensure drawings are issued accurately and on time to the production team for manufacture.
* Work closely with the design team to support drawing-related queries and amendments.
* Carry out additional duties appropriate to the role as required.
Package
* Salary of £28,000 - £32,000pm DOE
* 37.5 Hours a week (Monday – Friday)
* 25 days holiday

Key Experience
* Experience using CAD software (Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault)
* Computer literate with a thorough working knowledge of MS Office packages (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
* Good communication skills and confidence liaising with colleagues and customers.
* Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
Ideal Experience
* Working knowledge of building information modelling or REVITT to produce 3D drawings
* Understanding and practical knowledge of water storage tanks
* Experience within HVAC, Construction or Mechanical Instillation.
